Dinosaur Research Projects 2019 Students researched dinosaurs during library class and learned about their habitat, diet, behavior and where their fossils were located. They used a website and a database to find information and learned how to take notes and write sentences about their dinosaurs.They also learned about sources and giving credit to the information they used in their projects.Students were required to create a digital book using an online tool called Book Creator to share their knew knowlegde.Check them out, they are AWESOME!!
Marcellus Mustang Mini Researchers Christmas Around the World Project by Owen Alexander, Xian Angotti, Jadyn Baker, Connor Ciota, Allie Coombs & Isaac Shaw The purpose of this research project is to provide enrichment to students. The students learned about the research process; I Wonder...(Asking a question), I Find... (Getting the info you need), I Evaluate... (Understanding what you've found) and I Share...(Telling others what you learned). Students were required to create a website using an online program called Weebly. Students used non-fiction books or websites to find information about holiday traditions around the world. They learned about sources and giving credit to the information they used in their projects.
This research group decided to form a book club and read The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate. After they finished reading the book they had to create a comic book that related to the novel in some way. They used an online comic book creator called Toondoos. We hope you enjoy reading them.
