Class of 2016 holding poinsettia sale fundraiser for junior prom:
The Marcellus High School junior class is once again selling poinsettias to raise money for its junior prom.
The 6½-inch potted, foiled plants are available in red, white and pink and cost $15 each. Members of the Class of 2016 will be accepting orders until Nov. 20.

Residents reject proposed capital project: On Oct. 21, Marcellus Central School District residents rejected a proposal to upgrade the high school for 21 st century educational programming, as well as additional enhancements at C.S. Driver Middle School and K.C. Heffernan Elementary School.
Voters rejected the capital project proposal 598 votes to 416 votes.
